I don’t know about you, but to me, it never really feels like a New Year begins properly until everyone is back to work and school so I hope you won’t mind that it is the 6th Jan and I am wishing you a very Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed and there was some time for rest as well as the chaos that the season brings.
I had a quiet Christmas and unusually for us a busy time in between and on the New Year as we visited friends in The Netherlands and had a wonderful time seeing in 2025 with them. I also got to wear this gorgeous dress from the Preloved sale I helped to organise in December.
Now it’s back to work and I am really looking forward to helping my existing clients to continue building their style and new clients to begin the journey to confident dressing.
I’m not a big fan of making resolutions but I do like to start a new year with positive aims and commitments to carry on with things that went well in the previous year. I thought I would share some of my goals here with you. Maybe it will keep me more accountable! If you have set some style aims I’d love to hear what they are.
My style aims for 2025……
I want to feel comfortable in my clothes, I love my clothes and I want them to feel good. Over the last month or so everything feels a little bit too tight. In 2024 I made a conscious effort to move more and I certainly felt better for it, unfortunately I let it slide towards the end of the year. I had a weighted vest for Christmas and I am determined to walk at least 30 mins a day wearing it.
I want to continue shopping consciously and buying only what I need. I made very few purchases in 2024 and practiced what I preach to my clients only buying what I loved and never settling for it’ll do.
I want to continue buying Preloved items and sharing the benefits of doing this with everyone. I found some real treasure in 2024 and I’m hoping for more in 2025!
I’d love to hear from you and what you hope your style will look like in 2025. Please get in touch if you have any questions you would like to see me answer in the coming months. I’m looking forward to sharing more style tips and tricks with you.
Have a great rest of the week!
